Šefer a Social Library
The library was meant to help spread literature in days of isolation. With the worldwide epidemic people found themselves in their homes more than ever and the rise of screen time usage have increased for all of us, included myself. I Hoped to give the people of my close community an opportunity for other form of knowledge, recreation, creative imagination and a bit of sense of community, that is a major part of this neighbourhood.This project was possible thanks to members of Nachlaot neighbourhood that help with books donations, permits and more.

ŠEFER is a social street Library in my local neighbourhood Nachlaot in Jerusalem.
A free exchange of books in the public space based on mutual trust, giving, collective responsibility and love of literature.
